Artists and graphic designers can work hand in hand with programmers to create beautiful and exciting WEB pages. A knowledge of HTML is not necessary to create graphics for the Web, but it is necessary to know the limitations of the medium and what is possible.
Topics include:
- Exporting vector graphics and bitmaps as GIFs and transparent GIFs
- Eliminating jaggies in bitmaps
- Creating graphics which appear quickly on the screen

She is a credentialed art teacher, has taught in the Computer and Information Sciences Department at Santa Rosa Junior College, and is a consultant in web page design for the Gifted and Talented Education Program, Santa Rosa City Schools. Ani has had 35 years experience in teaching and the graphic arts and specializes in desktop publishing for educators and business professionals. As a licensed MFCC, she has used art in the therapeutic process.
